Community Led Child Nutrition Project is being implementing for improve child nutrition status through positive deviant inquiry(PD heart) approach and participatory community development by Wathnakpheap organization and funding by Child Fund Cambodia. Project is implementing coverage for 5 communes, 25 villages, Chhlong district, Kratie province, Cambodia.

Project Goal:

  • All girls and boys aged 3-5 years old with and without disability in the project areas achieve age appropriate developmental milestones.

Activities: 

  • Community pre-school facilities constructed and equipped with necessary materials,

  • establish the community pre-school facilities, including:community pre-school buildings, hand-washing stations, wells at community preschool locations, latrines, playground, gardens, fences, constructed community pre-school classrooms.

  • Community pre-school teachers trained and supported on teaching methodology.

  • Community pre-school teachers, pre-school management committee and CCWC trained on the importance of ECE

  • Community members are exposed to pre-school enrolment campaigns, and various.
